We are excited to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley for Back to School Shopping! This is an excellent event for their kids and teens who often don’t get anything before returning to school. Confidence entering the school year is very important for multiple reasons and we want to help them get there in style.

Why the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley?

• The Clubs continue to be a safe and productive place for kids after school and during the summer with extended hours. BGCAZ provides more than 900,000 snacks and hot, nutritious meals for the kids. Hunger causes many issues with education, potential crime, and overall health
• Kids continue to have a safe place to go after school. Crime doubles between 3:00-7:00 PM and that is when the Clubs are hosting thousands of kids with structured, safe supervision so parents are able to work. This allows nearly 70% of our Teens to graduate from high school, 10% higher than the state average
• BGCAZ turns every $1 given into $18.22 of services back to the community, saving Maricopa County taxpayers more than $300 million annually if those costs needed to be covered by tax dollars
• 57% of Club kids say the BGCAZ saved their life
