Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Vanessa 63, was diagnosed with AML over Christmas/New Year 2018. Despite several courses of treatment to remission, plans to consider a stem cell transplant  were thwarted when her heart failed to recover its full function and traces of leukemia were found in her marrow. A desperate fight for life was fought against  an incredibly powerful disease,  and complications failed to dampen her spirit, remaining strong and cheerful throughout. A lovely lady, popular, loved by many, and taken far too soon.

About the charity

Our aim is to help patients and staff by purchasing equipment, funding research and improving the hospital's environment. We've pledged to raise money to build a new Brachytherapy Treatment Unit. This will keep the Centre at the leading edge of world-class cancer and haematological treatments.
