Story
We are currently facing a crisis unprecedented in modern times. Whittington Health is confident that they have taken every necessary step to ensure they are in the best place to manage an extreme surge in patients, but this has only been possible by the incredible work of their fantastic staff. The Coronavirus Crisis is going to be a marathon, not a sprint, and they need our support to make sure they can continue working at maximum capacity. They have created a dedicated 'Coronavirus Relief Fund' for all financial donations received during this time to ensure their staff can continue caring for, and protecting, our community. Thank you.
That was a message from the hospital themselves but I have something to say for my self.
On the 01/04/2020 I am going to be shaving my hair to raise money for the Whittington Hospital (Don't worry its not an April fools). Also, after the shave, I am going to be giving my hair to the little princess trust.
I am raising money for this hospital because at current times the Whittington Hospital is currently under a lot of pressure and stress with all of the patients that are being treated for Coronavirus there. The staff are not being paid enough for the life saving they are doing and these donations are to ensure that they can have some money to treat themselves, as working in the hospitals (during these times) must be very strenuous work. The average pay of an NHS nurse averages from 10-16 pounds an hour (almost minimum wage). We need to change this!
Please donate a little or as much as you would like to help these hospitals and PLEASE STAY AT HOME.
Thank You.
