Story
Our wonderful Hotpod Yoga Ruislip community are fundraising for the wish centre, a small local charity based in Harrow (Reg charity no. 1125263). The wish centre helps children and young people with mental health issues, and specialises in the prevention of self-harm, abuse and exploitation.
During the pandemic the wish centre had to give up premises due to financial constraints and have recently moved into a space in a local youth sports and community centre. We urgently need to raise funds so that more counselling sessions, peer support groups, drop-in sessions and activities, such as yoga can be provided to children and young people in distress.
Hotpod Yoga reflects the nature of the work at the wish centre, which is a mix of individual work and group effort. And the link between mental well-being and physical health is well understood.
With the support of you, the Hotpod Yoga Ruislip community, we are holding a special fundraiser for the wish centre. This is where you can donate, and there will also be the option to join a special Hotpod Yoga class on the 11th December 2021.
The AMAZING Claire Miller will be leading the class and donating her time for the benefit of the charity. The WONDERFUL Natalie is donating the use of the pod.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page and if you are free - please sign up to the special fundraiser class on 11th December at 14:00. Details to book are on the usual class booking system on https://hotpodyoga.com/studios/ruislip/ or the App.
Thank you to you, Natalie, Claire and the team at Hotpod Yoga Ruislip for choosing the wish centre for this fundraising event.
Please see our website for more details www.thewishcentre.org.uk, or you can talk with me (Nerys Anthony) - avid Hotpod Yoga Ruislip member and proud Trustee of the charity.
