When I heard about my niece having autism last year, I really wanted to help out in some way, shape or form. Around the same time, I was also planning on running the 2015 Manchester 10K. Unfortunately due to being really busy doing other things I wasn't able to commit to it. But instead of beating myself up about it, I've decided to make sure I do do a 10K this year and picked the best one I could find. 

Lucy has Autism Spectrum Disorder, in particular Aspergers Syndrome. It means that Lucy has problems with social interaction and social communication. It's something that is often looked over by the modern media but it causes serious issues with sufferers, especially the young who have to live with this through school. 

Lucy is a great niece and a really great girl. She deserves the best support in her challenges ahead and I want to try and add to that support in my own little way.

Please help me by donating to this great cause and help all children in the Tameside area who encounter the same difficulties as Lucy.
