Everyone is hit by cancer in one way or another. I am no exception. My father had tongue cancer. My uncle had skin cancer. My father in law had bowel cancer. My sister in law had breast cancer. But there is always hope and so many now survive thanks to the hard work of organisations such as CRUK. 

I am doing my bit - only a small thing - not drinking alcohol in the month of September - it will be harder than you think as mid month is my birthday and I will be in Newcastle!!! 

I hope with your generosity and support we can help bring forward the day when all cancers are cured.
