Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Story

Exactly 42.195 kilometres or 26.2 miles, whichever way you look at it, it's a bloody long way...

This is my first full marathon, or as Wikipedia so aptly put it, 'an ultra endurance event which actually kills approximately 1 in 50,000 runners'. Thanks for that.

I'm running for The Parkinson's Disease Society - a charity close to my heart, so please give generously and thank you so much for donating.

I've put in some hard hours training to get in shape for this and I cannot wait for the feeling of crossing the line.

Thanks again, Neil
