Macmillan Cancer Support improves the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.

It is estimated that 1 in 3 people in the will get cancer at some point in their life. Whilst significant steps have been taken to enhance cancer treatment and survival rates continue to improve, cancer sufferers and their families still need the care and support that this charity provides.

Through immediate family and friends sadly I have seen the devastating affect this disease can have on people’s lives and so in an effort to raise a little further funding I and a very good friend will be cycling a little over 400 miles from to John O’Groats inside of 5 days starting on 8th July 2010.

I would be grateful if you would be kind enough to sponsor my efforts as every single donation, whatever the amount will be gratefully received and will mean I have to finish this venture!!
