Story

Wilmslow Sprint Triathlon 2022

Those who knew Gill will be aware of her verve for life and fun. During 2016, that verve diminished on the dreadful news of a diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The 5 years that passed until Gill's peaceful passing on December 10th 2021 were filled with agony, pain and relentless treatments at the Christie. Gill was the most courageous, driven and strong person I have ever had the privilege to admire. Her drive was second to none throughout. Gill made every moment that we had as a family during the 5 and a half years the best they could be for our young family.

I am asking that you pull on your courage, drive and strength to join me and many others that love Gill with all our hearts and raise money for three of the charities that were a huge support throughout the last 5 and a half years.

Maggies Centre Manchester

the Christie Hospital

East Cheshire Hospice

I will be competing in the Wilmslow Sprint Triathlon on April 24th 2022 to raise as much money as possible for these amazing charities. I urge you to either donate, or draw on Gills strength and compete yourself and fundraise as part of the team.

Yes you can do it, if Gill did what she did for the past 5 and a half years then you can complete a simple swim, bike ride and run in Cheshire in 2022..

Many thanks for reading
