Story
On April 2014 I will be taking part in the Marathon Des Sables, also known as 'The Toughest Footrace on Earth'.
In the run up to the MdS I will also be running:
The Edinburgh Marathon - 26th May 2013 - Completed (3hr 10mins)
The Swaledale Marathon - 8th June 2013 - Completed (3hr 40mins)
The Leeds-Liverpool Canal - 1-6th August 2013 (127 miles over 5 days) - Completed!!!!!!
Yorkshire Man Marathon - 8th September - Completed (3hr 53mins)
The Beacon's Ultra Marathon - 16th November (46 miles) - Completed (8hr 20mins)
And this is before I attempt the MdS which is 160 miles of racing over 6 days in the Sahara Desert - to make matters just a little bit harder I will also have to carry everything I need over that 6 day period (including food!)......
So please show your support by donating through this page - every little bit really is appreciated and will help me through, not just the races, but the miles and miles of training needed to get me through to the finish line next April.
Thank you for your interest and support - to hear more about how my preparations are coming on please see my blog which I am posting once a week with updates on all aspects of preparation: www.massivedesertshuffle.wordpress.com
