I felt a wave of MOTIVATION one morning as i opened my emails on my phone on the train on my way to work. It wasnt another great Groupon deal making me feel like i needed something i never needed before opening the email, no. It was an email from More to Life talking about Challenge13, a fundraising opportunity to hep people financially to afford to access training and support services through More To Life! Im always up for a CHALLENGE. 

A few years ago i felt like i needed some help and guidence in my life, not that my family and friends didnt offer it, but i needed more. More to Life! And that is when an Uncle (Murray) introduced me to the Charity More To Life. They help people overcome any life challenges or difficulties that they have experienced in their life, and help them move forward. I did the course, so i had a PERSONAL CONNECTION with the Charity. it truly changed my life! It was the most amazing experience, and i left a better person afterwards with a motivated, knowledgable sence of myself and the future i wanted. I cant wait for more people i know to join the course and live a happier life! 

My Nan Lee always INSPIRED ME, she was the strongest woman i knew. I told her that i felt like i was failing if i was stressed out and asking for help. She repied "Its ok not to be ok. Cry a little (if you have to), and then get up, stand proud, and go and get what you want, leaving the negative baggage behind"!

THE EVENT: So that leads me to today and why im writing this story, well, I am hosting an event where some friends and family will donate their time/services to others, in order to raise money. An example would be: Im a Life Coach, I would auction 2 hours of Life Coaching hours to the highest bidder. So at this Personal Time Auction, people can bid for services (accounting, Language Classes, Cleaning Service) or activity (Cinema date night, Harley Davidson Experience), and raise money for a great cause.

You can take part at the event due to be held in Madrid, or Online on THURSDAY 3rd OCTOBER 2013.

THE CAUSE: Making the More To Life course more financially accessible to people who cannot financially afford it, by fundraising to reduce the cost of the course. The More To Life Team are dedicated facilitators who help people to unlock their wisdom inside, to hep them follow their heart and create the dreams they have.

Tiempo atrás, una mañana en el tren de camino al trabajo, sentí una oleada de MOTIVACIÓN cuando abrí mi correo en mi teléfono. No fue otra gran oferta de Groupon o páginas similares las que me hizo sentir que necesitaba algo como nunca antes había experimentado. Se trataba de un correo electrónico de More To Life hablando de Challenge13, una oportunidad para recaudar fondos para ayudar a personas que económicamente no pueden permitirse el acceder a formación y servicios de apoyo. Siempre estoy lista para un nuevo desafío.

Hace unos años me sentí que necesitaba ayuda y que me guiaran en mi vida. Esto no quiere decir que mi familia y amigos no lo hiciesen, pero necesitaba algo más. Esto lo encontré a través de Murray, quién me habló de More To Life y su sistema de formación. Ellos ayudan a las personas a superar los desafíos de la vida o las dificultades que han experimentado en su vida, y les ayudan a seguir adelante. Me decidí a hacer el curso, por lo que tuve una conexión personal con la esta Organización y su sistema de ayuda, y realmente cambió mi vida. Fue la experiencia más increíble que había realizado hasta ese momento, y tras terminarlo, me sentí mejor persona, muy motivada y  conociendo más aún el sentido de mí misma y el futuro que quería. Tengo verdaderas ganas de que la gente que conozco participe en el curso y vivir una vida más feliz y saludable.

Mi Abuela Lee siempre me inspiró, ella era la mujer más fuerte que he conocido. Le dije que el hecho de pedir ayuda me hacía sentir como si estuviese fallando y esto me estresaba mucho. Ella me contestó: "Está bien no estar bien. Llora un poco si lo necesitas, y luego levántate, siéntete orgullosa, y ve a conseguir lo que quieres, dejando atrás lo negatividad"

EL EVENTO: Es lo que me lleva al día de hoy y por lo que estoy escribiendo esta historia. Estoy preparando un evento en el que algunos amigos y familiares donarán su tiempo y/o servicios a otros, con el fin de recaudar dinero para More To Life y que puedan continuar formado a personas que lo necesitan. Un ejemplo sería el siguiente: “Yo soy un Personal Coacher y subastaré 2 horas de Life Coaching al mejor postor”. De modo que en esta Subasta de Tiempo Personal la gente puede pujar por los servicios que se ofrezcan, como Contabilidad, Cursos de Idiomas, Servicio de Limpieza, o actividades como entradas para el Cine, una vuelta en una Harley Davidson,etc. Así recaudaremos dinero para una gran causa.

Usted puede participar en el evento que se celebrará en Madrid el próximo Jueves 03 de octubre 2013, tanto de forma presencial como Online.

LA CAUSA: Permitir que More To Life pueda continuar realizando cursos que sean accesibles económicamente a personas que de otro modo no podrían permitirse el realizarlos. Esto se consigue mediante la recaudación de fondos para reducir el costo del curso. El equipo de More To Life está formado por personas cualificadas que ayudan y facilitan a las personas a desbloquear su interior, ayudándoles a que sigan a su corazón y hagan realidad los sueños que tienen.

VUESTRO APOYO significa mucho para mí, ya que creo que juntos podemos plantar algunas semillas y hacer de este mundo un lugar diferente, mejor, positivo, amoroso.
