Story
The Coronavirus struck at the heart of our country and our communities in March and unfortunately it doesn't look like it's going to leave us any time soon. Meanwhile local communities, businesses and people are all feeling the impact of this dangerous virus.
Although we are working reduced hours, we are in many ways still very fortunate. There are some families who are having to visit foodbanks, have little income and are closer to the poverty line than ever before, and thousands are already living in poverty everyday in the UK.
The good news is we can all help. By donating the cost of our daily commute to work, whether that be a bus or train fare, or your cost of fuel if you drive in, we can help support local communities.
And if you're one of the lucky ones who can walk or cycle to work, why not donate the cost of your lunch or your daily coffee from Friska?
No matter how small your donation it will all help make life better for our local communities and someone like you.
Thanks for supporting this initiative. For more information on how your donation will help please visit:
