Story
Born in Punjab, India in 1928, left his wife and family to come to the UK in 1953, to help rebuild the country after the war. During his time in the UK he worked in various companies across the black country aswell as setting up his own business which he ran successfully during the 70s and 80s, in which during this time, he bought over his wife in the early 60s, who sadly lost her battle to cancer in 1995. Together they had 6 children and 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. My grandad loved contributing to charities in the UK and India and always helped others who were in need. He was kind hearted and loving to everyone. My grandad was always tough mentally and physically and fought many battles in his life, however battling the fight against cancer was one step too much and he peacefully passed away with his family around him on the 24th April 2020 at the age of 92. He was privileged to have seen the world during his time, and was given the best final months of his life. Promise dreams is a charity which was always close to the heart of my grandad and his family.
