I've been spending a lot of time lately feeling grateful. Of course there's ups and downs and some days are harder than others, but we have healthy children, a beautiful home and loving family & friends.

And it's time to pay it forward. 

 If you've been following my Forty Before 40 challenge on Instagram (@nataliesfortybefore40), you know that one of my goals is to raise $4040 for charity before my 40th birthday next year.

I have chosen the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation as my charity of choice because they do incredible things for our community and when the going gets tough, we can count on our health care providers to help and care for us.

So, over the next year I am asking that instead of bringing over a bottle of wine, flowers, or buying a gift for birthdays, Christmas, etc - please donate the $5 or $10 or $50 to our hospital.

And hey - if you want to make me do something in order to donate, try me! I'm game for giving back
