In September I will be joining donor families, colleagues and friends to raise  awareness about Organ Donation whilst walking around The Blickling Hall Estate, a beautiful National Trust site, in the heart of Norfolk. We will be marking the importance of organ donation, and honouring donors and their families who made the selfless decision to help save and improve the lives of others. A significant part of my role as a Specialist Nurse in Organ Donation is to support families following the loss of a loved one - this frequently involves supporting  young children and teenagers. We work closely with 2 charities - “Made a Mark”  and “Nelsons Journey “ - both who support bereaved children. I am asking you to dig deep to help me raise £1000 for these amazing charities to help them continue with the valuable work they do 💗
