Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Last year our son Tyce Mepham was born 12 weeks early. We had no idea up till this point what people go through when they have a sick or premature baby. Our lives were turned upside down, each day we were anxious with the unknown. We had days that were high but it often felt like they followed with lows.

Tyce had various procedures while he was in hospital and we cannot fault the medical team or the equipment available. When we left him each evening after saying good night we felt assured he was in the best hands.

The staff were amazing, they cared for us as well as Tyce. They encouraged us to do all that we could for him, all be it strange and not what you expect to do for your new born.

Now Tyce is doing well and we have settled as a family we want to give something back to the unit, a thank you for everything. We hope to raise money for equipment and other things such as chairs, nursing pillows and refreshments to help other parents feel comfortable during their visits.

My husband, friends and I will be completing 3 marathons in a day. A marathon run, a marathon on a Skierg and Bikerg, all split between three people. We would appreciate any small donation to help towards the cause.

We are holding a fundraising event at our home in Bexhill on Sea, if you are unable to attend and would like to donate please use this page to do so.
