A very good friend of mine has been living with Folicular lymphoma for many years. She has been able to live a relatively normal life with the help of her medical professionals and has a wonderful and supportive family, a loving husband and two beautiful children along with a successful business that she runs with her longtime friend and business partner. 

Very recently it was discovered that the disease had worsened and she was immediately started on an aggressive course of chemotherapy to try and prevent further damage and save her life.

She has accepted this and is fighting every step of the way but one thing that really upset her was knowing that she would lose her hair. I decided then that I would support her by shaving mine off too and as I was doing this, why not try and raise money for charity at the same time?

The Folicular Lymphona Foundation is working hard to find a cure for this awful disease and it was the first choice when I asked her to choose a deserving cause to donate the money to. 

Please help me raise as much money as possible to allow this wonderful charity to continue their research and hopefully prevent future sufferers and their loved ones from having to go through the same as Lynsey and her family.
