Asalamu Alaikum!

Ramadan Mubarak to you and your family from NIA.

Everyday we pick up a glass/bottle of water without worrying about finishing a limited supply. We bathe ourselves in water cleaner than some people have ever witnessed or tasted. Hundreds of thousands of people die everyday due to unhygienic and dirty water. Many children, women and families do not have access to clean, drinkable water. This may be a test for them from Allah SWT but it is also a test for us. It has been prescribed upon us to help the poor and needy. In this Dunya the poor require our help but in the Akhirah we will need theirs. A small good deed such as being compassionate towards the poor may intercede for us on the day of Judgement. For it has been said that “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be his charity” (Tirmidhi)

A small amount can make a very big difference. Even if you are not in the position to donate a small amount, sharing this fundraiser is equally as rewarding. Please remember to keep those less fortunate in your duas.
