Story
I am 8 years old. A week after my eighth birthday I decided to have my hair cut for charity. The charity is called the Little Princess Trust. They make wigs using real hair for children who have lost their hair through illness or because of a condition they have.
I have asked to have my long hair cut many times, but Mummy and Daddy love my hair long so tried to put me off! Then we decided that donating my hair would be a really good thing to do.
My Aunty Nina is a hairdresser and she cut off 9.5 inches of my hair. I am so pleased I have done this to give someone the chance to have a wig made from real hair. I hope it will make them happy.
We have set up a JUSTGIVING page as donating the hair is only the start. Money is needed to help the charity make or source the wigs made from real hair. I would like to raise some money to help them do this.... please give a couple of pounds if you can.
Thank you, Niamh xxx
