We provide Diabetic Alert Assistance Dogs to Children with brittle Type 1 Diabetes

Story

Instead of buying Easter Eggs this year I am asking my family to help me fund raise for HYPO HOUNDS

Hypo Hounds is a very small, but fabulous charity that supports children with Type1 diabetes. Hypo Hounds train dogs to detect when a child has changes in their blood sugar. The dogs are trained to alert their owner/parents  before the child becomes dangerously unwell. This is life changing for young children who can not communicate the early warning signs to their parents. (Plus the child gets to grow up with a dog in their life)

Please join me in swapping chocolate eggs for pounds for this  amazing charity this Easter. Even donating for the equivalent of  just 1 chocolate egg, will help.  Thank you

About the charity

Hypo Hounds is a registered Assistance Dog Charity training Diabetic Alert Assistance dogs to sniff out the changes of their Type 1 Diabetic partners blood sugar levels. Through early intervention we are preventing hospital admissions, preventing children collapsing, and improving their lives.
