Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Natalie was a funny, outgoing, kind and generous friend who lived life to the fullest.
She was an enthusiastic student at Abertay University in Dundee. In her spare time she enjoyed travelling, hill walking and spending time with friends, family and most importantly her faithful companion, Arthur.
In 2012, Natalie was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer, Ewing's Sarcoma. After just under a year of fighting and undergoing treatment she sadly passed away in 2013.
In 2012 after her diagnosis we decided to give Natalie something to look forward to once her treatment was finished so we arranged our first event.
This was a charity halloween party in aid of The Maggie's Centre, Natalie's chosen charity. The event was a huge success, raising £1,751.45.
We decided to keep the tradition going by holding the charity event every year in memory of Natalie. In 2013 we raised £1,767.85 and in 2014 we raised £1,737.86 which we have donated to The Bone Cancer Research Trust (BCRT) specifically to Ewing's Sarcoma.
Over three years we have raised £5,257.16 for the afore mentioned charities!!
We will continue to keep raising money and hope to increase the amount we raise each year with your support and generosity.
We will keep you updated throughout the year about our fundraising efforts.
