Story

As part of the Centre for Mental Health 'Give us your resolution' campaign, the Health & Justice, Armed Forces and SAAS team are planning to make a combined commitment to looking after themselves in January 2022.  The Centre for Mental Health campaign is about taking some time to commit to protecting time in the New Year for looking after ourselves.  This may look differently to people across the team and may include blocking time for a walk to get some daylight and fresh air, calling a friend, meditating or practicing a sport or craft which brings joy.

The Centre for Mental Health campaign has been set up to raise money for the work the charity carries out, so as a team we have set up this just giving page to support the work this valuable work.  All money raised will support the Centre for Mental Health's research and campaigning in the fight for equality in mental health.  We recognise that this is a time of year where money is tight however the priority is for teams and individuals to consider what self-care means to them and commit to looking after ourselves in the New Year.

About the charity

Poverty, injustice and discrimination put some people at a much higher risk of poor mental health – but less likely to receive the right support. Our work is driving forward sustainable policy change, to pursue equality, social justice and good mental health for all.
