Story
Dear Friend
For those who know me, now that I am 60 I have defiantly lost the plot, in agreeing to do this again.
“I am taking part in the Baggies Bike Challenge who support people with disabilities & challenges within the communities of Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley and Worcestershire, which is raising funds for The Albion Foundation.
The start is on Thursday 6th April and cycling around 185 miles from St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton and finishing at The Hawthorns Stadium, West Bromwich on Saturday the 8th.
The Albion Foundation, which is close to my heart, is a charity that works in partnership with West Bromwich Albion Football Club to make a difference to the communities of Birmingham, Sandwell, Dudley and Worcestershire, working closely with schools, local authorities and grassroots organisations we ‘inspire to achieve’. The Foundation provide opportunities for approximately 27,000 participants every year. Of those 27,000, some have learning difficulties and/or disabilities and the opportunity to play sport with West Bromwich Albion is often a dream come true for the athletes.
I would be very grateful of any support you can offer and all monies
will be used to further assist in the work of The Albion Foundation.
