Please read below a very modest & brief summary of what this fantastic Charity does. With the help of the amazing people involved in it, they help young autistic people to brake down barriers, give opportunities, independence & support to the families involved.

The Charity “Children in Touch” aims to support the therapeutic education of children in Oxfordshire and surrounding
areas. In particular it helps support the work of the Autism Resource Bases (formally known as the Chinnor Resource Units) for autistic children, and helps to develop further therapeutic and educational services. Early intervention helps the child to develop secure and communicating relationships. Later on, appropriate education helps the child to adapt to school and community, and to overcome some of the emotional and practical difficulties they encounter.

Over the 35 years the service for Autism has steadily grown. The work of Children in Touch has become known nationwide and has been a model for services in other counties.
