For the NBIM London Holiday Giving Challenge 2022 we have chosen the Young Roots Organization.

Young Roots works with young refugees and asylum seekers aged 11-25 in London to improve their wellbeing and life chances. They do this through 1:1 casework, youth and sporting activities, Advice & Support Hubs and Young Leaders group.

Young Roots collaborates with expert local organizations providing psychological support, counselling, housing, and legal advice to refugees, as well as playing an active role within the refugee sector. They celebrate and center their work on young people's strengths and potential, prioritizing diversity, equity and inclusion, and empowering young people to share their unique voice, perception, and experiences.

Our target is £1,000 and if we reach it NBIM will match that taking us to £2,000.
