Story
Mark, Matt, David and John are all proud Masons who have, over the years, have raised thousands of pounds for charitable causes.
Because they want to support the work of the Masonic Charitable Foundation they have accepted this challenge of walking from Northampton to the Freemasons’ headquarters in Great Queen Street, London.
Last year the Masonic Charitable Foundation helped Masonic families with grants of £12.3m. They also made 414 grants totalling £8.5m to charities in the wider community. This helped thousands of disadvantaged and vulnerable people to live happy, fulfilling lives and participate actively in society. Over the last forty years, the MCF has provided over £130m to charities.
We've created this page because we want to make a difference. Please help us help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about Masonic Charitable Foundation, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
Originally, this walk was planned to be in April 2020. Due to the Corona virus epidemic and quarantine restrictions starting in March 2020, the walk was postponed until April 2022.
20 April Update: Unfortunately, because of unforeseen circumstances (and despite putting in many hours of walking in preparation) Matt Ellmer, is now unable to take part in this walk.
