Community Charity Song Praises Princess Alexandra Hospital Staff, Hailing Them Angels and Heroes
West End star Natalie Paris, the talented performers of Makin’ Steps Performing Arts and the musicians of Woodbury Studios have collaborated to produce ‘Rainbow Heroes’, a charity single to be released on Saturday 9th May at 12pm. Raising funds for the Princess Alexandra Hospital’s JustGiving charity page, the song highlights the heroic efforts of all frontline NHS staff and key workers that are putting their lives on the line to keep the residents of Harlow and the surrounding areas safe and well.
First proposed just three short weeks ago, the ‘Rainbow Heroes’ project rapidly gathered momentum as vocalists and musicians from the town and beyond clamoured to play their part in this heartfelt song of thanks. The youngsters of Makin’ Steps, in the company of stage sensation Natalie Paris, have sung their hearts out, providing the producers with a huge collection of performances, all created within the confines of their own homes. The professional musicians, all having personal connections with Harlow, have shared in the task of writing and recording the accompaniment, again working remotely. And then, with skill and dedication, the production team at Woodbury Studios have carefully edited everything together to produce a staggeringly emotional song that must surely reflect the sentiments of everyone at this time.
Simply trying to comprehend the devastation caused by COVID-19 can leave you feeling fearful and totally powerless to help your fellow citizens and those in need, particularly as we continue to fulfil our collective duty to stay at home. But powerless you are not! By purchasing your copy of ‘Rainbow Heroes’ you will be making an invaluable contribution, directly supporting all those extraordinary people that are working every available hour to keep Harlow safe. You need them, we all need them - they are all our ‘Rainbow Heroes’.
