Where do I start?

She only came to stay with me for 2 weeks as a foster bulldog from The Edward Foundation and never left. That was 4.5 years ago 🐾

She was my best friend. She came everywhere with me - she came to work with me at Leeds Beckett University, I booked cottages in Alderley Park so I could take her with me if I had overnight events, my friends opened their houses for to us to stay with them Linda Carter (she thanked Linda by weeing on her duvet and bossing Frank and any unsuspecting fosters around), Michelle Pittman (she thanked Chelle by getting very agitated with her if she moved anything between visits, the Buddhas head though!), Bernadette Albert, Michelle Boswell, Kate Byrne Pritchard, Jonathan Turner - the longer the journey the better, she especially liked to be driven around in HER car (and she was partial to trying to get into other peoples cars too) πŸš—

She stood (and slept) by my side though a complete breakdown and depression, some days she was my only reason to get out of bed. REALLY! She listened to me, adored my cooking (however it came out) gave me a zillion kisses a day and got herself into all kinds of mischief. She always had her silly big head in things that didn't concern her 🍯😈

She locked herself in the car and I had to call the RAC, helped herself to gran's Black Magic chocolates and found herself at the vets, somersaulted herself from the sofa to her nestie and found herself at the vets!! She bounced back from 4 major operations in the last 2 years! She loved the vets and she especially loved Tom Clarke Abbey House Veterinary Hospital πŸš¨πŸš—πŸš¨

She would yell and tell off other dogs and yet made best friends out of sausage dogs Max and Freddie 🌭🌭

Never have I met a more stubborn, bossy, diva - she always knew what she wanted and it was always on her terms. She had a tough start in life, skinny and neglected when she arrived - but despite her past, all she wanted was to give love. I had so many more plans for us and adventures I thought we would go on togetherπŸŒ³πŸš—πŸ‘©πŸΎβ€πŸ€β€πŸ‘©πŸ½

At 7.30am on 27 July we went for our Sainsburys click collect, where she demanded fuss from the staff. We then went to her fave field and I took these pics (the first one below was 10 mins before). She ran around and then had a massive heart attack. I managed to bring her back, then she went again. I am pet first aid trained, I worked on her for a long time. I tried so hard to bring her back to us! I then picked her up and ran up hill to my car and drove her to the vets. But she had gone. I then spent the day on autopilot - in some horrible nightmare. Our final journey together was to the Yorkshire Pet Crematorium where Judith was amazing with us both. I was able to spend a long time saying goodbye and left her sleeping peacefully 😭

The pain this morning is unbearable. I miss her so much πŸ’”

Truth is my friends, she rescued me, not the other way around and I am so lucky to have had her in my life. My heart breaks to tell you... another angel has her wings... my Honey-monster πŸ’”πŸŒˆπŸ˜‡
