Story

Hi Everyone,

My Dad was diagnosed with mesothelioma back in March just as the pandemic started so we have both decided to take part in Movember to raise money for Mesothelioma UK for the excellent support they have been providing. And whilst my Dad can grow a pretty awesome moustache, I will be spending the month looking like a teenager with his first wisps of bum fluff.

Mesothelioma is an incurable cancer, caused by exposure to asbestos. Symptoms can take decades to develop and are usually responded to using traditional methods, i.e. radiotherapy/chemotherapy. New treatments are being developed all the time but it's the better known cancers (Lung, Prostate etc) which get more funds and coverage. Mesothelioma UK is the only charity supporting sufferers and due to the recent pandemic, resources and grants have been non-existent. please help by pledging whatever you can, thank you.
