As New York City’s only open admissions animal shelter, ACC marks our 25th anniversary with every intention to end animal homelessness throughout NYC. In the last quarter century, ACC’s strategies and programmatic efforts have continually evolved to better meet the needs of pets and the people who love them. We are saving more lives than ever before, more comprehensively serving the thousands of animals currently in our care and implementing community outreach efforts to keep more pets healthy, out of our shelters, and in their loving home.
