Their Very First Open Water Swim at Foxlake, 1 July 2014

Story

Stanley and Gilbert both love swimming but ultimately love football and cricket. They were inspired recently by a trustee on the Sports Development Trust and wanted to help raise money for 'their future'. They understand that Sports helps children develop emotionally, academically and socially and as they use the recreation field weekly they are super keen to see it develop into an all weather pitch for them to play their different sports on.

They wanted to do something very different and decided on an open water swim. With the help of an experienced open water swimmer we have arranged to swim at Foxlake where its quite safe for their first ever open water swim. There will be 10 children participating in this event and their challenge will be to swim 1 mile in open water (very different to their normal swims at North Berwick Sports Centre).

Please show them your support and sponsor them and come and cheer them on if you like.
