Story

Thanks for taking the time to look at my JustGiving page. This September, I am running the Robin Hood Half Marathon in Nottingham and have decided to raise money for Respect for Animals.

This worthwhile charity campaigns hard to bring an end to the cruel international fur trade. It has already achieved some noteworthy victories, including the banning of fur farming in the UK, outlawing the trade in cat and dog fur throughout Europe and a ban on the placing on the market of seal products in Europe, which closed one of the major markets for seal fur.

Respect for Animals is a small Nottingham based charity and is entirely donation dependant. For this reason it would be particularly great if I could reach my target of £1,000.

With this money, Respect for Animals could continue their work to end the cruel and unnecessary international fur trade, which is responsible for the deaths of 70 million animals a year, all for a product no one needs.

Please dig deep and support this worthwhile cause.

Thank you.
