Do Your Distance
Campaign by Dementia UK (RCN 1039404)
Do Your Distance your way by committing to a 10k, half marathon or full marathon - or any distance you choose - over a month of your choice and you'll help dementia specialist nurses support more families facing dementia.

Story

We recently lost our Grandma after a tough but brave battle with dementia. We saw first hand the impact that dementia can have on someone and those around them. We would love to help more families get the support they need during the challenging times this illness brings. Importantly, the need for specialist dementia support doesn't stop during a pandemic as we experienced. Families facing dementia need support to help cope now more than ever with the double difficulty of dementia and the coronavirus.

We are taking on Dementia U.K.‘s “Do Your Distance your way” by committing to running 91 miles (her age) over the rest of January. We appreciate any amount you can give, big or small, it will all go to helping dementia specialist nurses support more families facing dementia.
