Thank you for visiting our page.  We and our families have had the privilege of living in racial harmony since we met some thirty years ago.  We know that it is a privilege not afforded to all including too many black people and other people from a minority ethnic background. We are tired of racial inequality that  pervades so many facets of society, from education to business to politics to the criminal justice system.  We want to do our small bit to help and so we are raising funds to support the amazing work of The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust.  

The Trust was founded to tackle inequality in all forms. It is dedicated to transforming the life chances of young people and improving the world in which they live. It supports young people from disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds to inspire and enable them to succeed in the career of their choice. Also it plays an active role in building stronger communities and helps organisations to create more inclusive cultures.  It believes that: 

• All young people should receive the education, training and help they need to reach their potential 
• All young people should receive the information and support they need to make informed choices about their education and future careers 
• Everyone should have the opportunity to progress in their career based on their skills and abilities, not their background; and 
• Senior managers in every company and every industry should reflect the rich diversity of people in the UK.
