Monday Science podcast’s Dementia Series starts on Monday 7th September 2020.
All episodes in the month of September will be dedicated to conversations about dementia. The aim of the series is to raise awareness of dementia and experiences of it across the world.
Topics that will be covered in the series include the impact of COVID19 persons living with dementia; the experiences of persons living with dementia; and the experiences of relatives of persons living with dementia.
Monday Science podcast’s Dementia Series starts with an interview with Kate Swaffer (Humanitarian & Chair/CEO/Co-founder of Dementia Alliance International , DAI).
Monday Science is funding-raising for DAI during the series. The aim is to raise £500.

Dementia Alliance International (DAI)
is a US registered charity, whose membership is for people diagnosed with any type of dementia. It provides global advocacy and support, and through mentoring and support groups, empowers people with dementia to live more positively with dementia, not only to go home and die from it. The focus is on grassroots support, education, awareness and international advocacy for human rights for all people diagnosed with dementia and our families.
