Members of the Mixed Netball sports club will dress up as smurfs for the WHOLE DAY, yes full body paint and all, to raise money for Bloodwise. We'll be attending lectures, seminars, going in and out of shops, playing netball at our training session, working in the library, running a netball penalty shoot out on the piazza and attending our social that night ALL as smurfs. We'll also have collection buckets throughout the day for in person donations.

This year Mixed Netball are supporting Bloodwise (formally known as Leukaemia and Lymphoma research). The charity that not only raises awareness for the many different types of blood cancers but supports those with it and conducts research into finding a cure for the disease.
We wanted to support a charity that was tackling a large issue that unfortunately a lot people have been and still are affected by and so can relate to.
