My family (Mark, Klarissa, Christine and Alex) and I are raising money for St Giles Hospice, in remembrance of Miriam.

As I'm sure some of you are aware, Mum had been battling with cancer since December 2019 and had put up a strong fight, but sadly passed away on Wednesday night (24th June).

The care and support she received from the NHS and St Giles throughout her treatment was exceptional. In particular from the Oncology department at Good Hope Hospital, the local community/district nurses and St Giles Hospice Whittington (where she spent her final days).

Due to the restrictions of Covid, we are unable to have the party that she so wanted for us all to remember her. Rather than sending flowers (which she loved), we would welcome any donations to St Giles Hospice in Mum's memory. Mum was a big believer in charity and had left money to St Giles as well as several other organisations.

Mum was so selfless throughout her life and genuinely cared for others before herself. She was loved by so many; she was a wife, a daughter, a sister, a mother and a grandmother; and will be terribly missed by all her friends and family.
