I’m commemorating the loss of our dear friend Daniel Fridholm last year by running my first marathon, and hopefully raising some money for a cause that was very close to his heart – CPSL Mind. They do fantastic work supporting the mental health of people in Cambridgeshire, Peterborough and South Lincolnshire, often providing vital services far beyond the capacity of the NHS. I think it’s fitting that I do something for others on Daniel's anniversary, as he was one of the most selfless people I knew. We miss him so much.

Craig will be running too but as it apparently ‘hurts his legs’ to run at my pace (because I’m so fast..?) I’ll also be joined by my friends Tim and Nathan, who have never run a marathon before either. Her loss has also been a huge tragedy from the past year.

We’ll be doing our own route around Hyde Park and back to south London, hopefully straight into a pile of sandwiches and cold beer.
