Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On October 7th, three green MAMIL's (Middle aged men in lycra) will set off from the Scarlet Hotel in Mawgan Porth (recent winner of the International Hotel of the Year Best Sustainable Award) and cycle to Cafe Ode in Shaldon (2012 SRA Sustainable Restaurant of the Year winner), some 200 kilometres of rolling green hills. I will be one of those MAMIL's.......

Our aim is to raise money for our respective charities and promote the message of sustainability in catering.  Along the way we will be collecting local ingredients from various businesses that have been great advocates of sustainability.  We will be delivering the ingredients to Tim Bouget's fabulous restaurant in Shaldon, where Tim will host a charity dinner created from our foraged offerings. 

My fellow riders are Mark Linehan of the Sustainable Restaurant Association and Andy Cook of Ease Project Management, [www.ease-ds.com] who have collaborated with Space [www.spacecatering.co.uk] on many projects to deliver fantastic sustainable facilities, some of which we will be visiting en route.
