Story
Many of you will know that for the last couple of years I have raised funds for local homeless charities. I have seen first hand the way the charities deliver support to those who have lost so much and now need help from these charities.
This year I'm raising money for Spring of Hope to open as 24/7 supported accommodation, supporting women in Bristol with complex needs away from a life of homelessness, addiction and violence, into a life free from injustice and insecurity.
I will again spend the night sleeping outside with 20 others at St Stephens Church in the centre of Bristol. You may recall that last year it was a ‘home’ event… but the year before was in the open and took place on a night of torrential rain. I hope that I can enjoy the weather from last year…. But will take it as it comes!!
The sleep out starts at 22:00 on Friday night and ends at 07:00 on Saturday morning.
I am hoping to end the sleep out by hosting a breakfast at home for close friends to raise awarness.
