Story

Fundraising for HDVCH is one way I can give back to a community that quickly became our family in 2015. They cared for us so well and took the best care of Caitlin possible. 

We now know that Caitlin passed away from a genetic condition called isolated sulfite oxidase deficiency - but when we were there....we had no idea. Caitlin was having uncontrolled seizures and the brain damage was significant. She was born healthy and happy and passed away just over a month into life. We hold onto hope that we will once again see her - but miss her every day here on earth.

Your gifts help launch, expand and sustain life-changing and lifesaving services otherwise unavailable. Donors sustain our clinical programs, provide supportive services not covered by insurance and ensure our staff has the necessary expertise to care for our patients and their families.
