Story

There's Wally!

We are two blokes (the Wally's) tackling the 2015 Boom Banger Rally Marrakesh Express in a 1989 Ford Escort Estate supporting Demelza Hospice Care for Children.

Our Journey technically start in Reims, France (although getting to the start itself could be a challenge in our car). On day 1 we set off for Millau in France covering 525 miles. From there we head onto Barcelona on day 2 with 390 miles of driving and the challenge of the Pyrenees in our Wally Wagon. Destination for day 3 is Alicante, 340 miles along th beautiful Spanish coastline. Day 4 takes us 375 miles to Gibraltar spending our last night here before heading over to Africa on the final day with the end destination of Marrakesh and 360 miles of travelling.

We decided that if we were going to take part we really would rise to the challenge and find a car in which it really will be an achievement if we make it to the end.

To add to the fun we will be turning the car into a There's Wally (Where's Wally) wagon and under pressure will probably also be in fancy dress ourselves.

This is a bit of fun for us, but also a great opportunity to support a well deserving charity - Demelza Childrens Hospice.

We ask that you dig deep and help support those in great need!
