Story
On 4th June 2023, I’ll be doing the Tough Mudder 10k to raise money for Cerebral Palsy Scotland.
Cerebral Palsy Scotland has provided my best friend Jo with assistance and advice on how to deal with this condition, following her wee girl Bailey’s diagnosis with Hemiplegia Cerebral Palsy. Bailey is an amazing wee girl and with the help and support she’s received so far, she is showing us all that she is unstoppable!
In 2022 #TeamBailey was born and over £5,000 was raised for Cerebral Palsy Scotland. This year the team has grown and the total that we are looking to raise between us all is £10,000 for this fantastic local charity.
Any donation, no matter how big or small, is truly appreciated and will go towards making a massive difference to adults and children in Scotland with Cerebral Palsy.
Cerebral Palsy Scotland was founded by a group of determined parents whose children were unable to get the specialist therapy they needed close to home, making them the only Cerebral Palsy charity in Scotland.
They are a charity that improves the lives of children and adults with Cerebral Palsy through specialist therapy, support and information. They’re ambitious for people with cerebral palsy. For over 25 years the therapists have worked alongside people with Cerebral Palsy, their families and carers, helping them develop practical skills which transform daily life.
Team Bailey includes;Adam & Siobhan Eckersley, Ann McNeil, Colleen Cosar, Donna O'Donnell, Jacqueline Bell, Jo Mac, Katie B, Mhairi Nelson, Scott Gray, Stacey Kelly, Sue Dalton and Tricia Robertson
