Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. On September 11th this year, the Mersea Megababes - Harriet Caslin, Harriet Fox, Jessica Gozzett, Abi Head, Tor Jackson, Clare Latini, Charlotte Powell and Abbi Roberts - leave the UK to cycle 900 miles to Barcelona. We'll be smashing through France and taking on the Pyrenees before hitting the coast down to Barcelona, finishing 12 days later on the iconic Las Ramblas.

We're doing this for many reasons (note the name 'megababes'), but the main one is to raise money for St. Helena Hospice in Colchester, Essex. As most of you will know, one of the 'Babes', Abbi, lost her dad to a brain tumour at the end of 2014. As a family they were able to spend his final days together in the hospice. The experience is never easy, but the work of the staff and volunteers made it a peaceful and supported one. For this reason, we want to raise vital funds to help them continue to support families and develop their care for those with life limiting illnesses.
