Merry Quizmas, 8 December 2020
This year, lots of wonderful Sunday Assembly humans will be hosting events every day from the 8th until 20th December for you to enjoy. With your help, we're hoping this campaign will support Sunday Assembly into the future - beyond Covid.

Story

Are you all Zoom-quizzed out? Me too! But this one's going to be awesome.

Background of me

As a teenage evangelical who lost his faith but still liked the idea of community and lots of singing, Sunday Assembly was very much the thing I was looking for back in 2013.

I was more than happy making tea but the lovely humans who ran the thing discovered that I could play the guitar too so I was press-ganged into the band and spend Sunday mornings bouncing around like a fool. I do a bit more here and there and spend far too much time making the virtual assemblies work.

Why I’m raising money for Sunday Assembly
This quiz is about me giving something back to Sunday Assembly and making the whole thing sustainable. Like the chaps over at Sunday Assembly Nashville like to say: where two or three are gathered together... there are expenses.

How much should you donate?
Whatever you can afford! Think about the local pub quiz that costs about a fiver to go to… perhaps that? If 50 people gave a £5 then that would be like covering our zoom account subscription for a year! Plus, donating here means that Gift Aid can be claimed too.

That’d be groovy.
