Story

"All the gear, no idea" is a phrase that springs to mind when trying to explain what we are doing.

What started as an idea for a "holiday" has, after further research, become more of a challenge for the mouse pushing duo of Kim Slade and Jake Denham.  We will be heading out into the Southern French Alps with everything we need to survive for four days and nights in the wild on our backs. Weather depending, our aim is to reach at least one peak above 9,000ft, swim in at least one icy mountain lake and not leave the mountains via a rescue helicopter.

Any excuse to raise money for charity is a good excuse (plus we may need some motivation when we are cream crackerd at 6,000ft) so please spare a few quid for the Chestnut Tree House children's hospice. Thank You!
