The Mendip Hills Fund is a community fund set up to conserve and enhance the environment , communities and economy of the Mendip Hills. 

The fund supports local projects in the Mendip Hills area and has awarded over £60,000 to local community groups, charities and other voluntary organisations since the Fund opened in 2014.

Grants will be made to projects that:

• conserve habitats and natural or historic features
• increase awareness, understanding and enjoyment
• Enhance community facilities or social enterprises

The Mendip Hills AONB Unit promote and manage the fund with Somerset Community Foundation administering it.

The Mendip Hills Fund is a partnership between the Mendip Hills AONB Partnership and Somerset Community Foundation (charity no 1094446).

80% of each donation will be used directly for project delivery, although larger donations may – with the express agreement of the donor – be used to build an endowment fund for the Mendip Hills area.
