Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

This summer I was at The Fox Pub Farnham at a charity music event to raise funds in memory of Tony Green, my friend's Dad. Tony died 12 years ago from MND, he was a great man and so many people have brilliant memories of him and wish he was still here today.

I was inspired to get my running shoes on and take on The Grim Challenge and raise funds for MND. I want to help to find a cure to this nasty disease. The same day as the Fox charity event I had run a 10K race with my friend Tasj just for fun and not charity. I knew I could challenge myself and rasie funds at the same time.

Tasj, Toby and I entered in to the Grim as a result. We are running as a team called " Toby Sandwich" through waist high water, under scramble nets and 13K of rough terrain. We're good friends and I know we'll do a good job.

Please just give as much as you can even if it's under two pounds. Your money will make a difference to a person living with MND or their family. They need all the support they can get. I've never raised more than one hundred pounds so let's see if we can do it together!!!
