Melanie Richmond was a part of Queen’s University Belfast for 36 years.  She worked as the QUBIS Secretary for most of that time and more recently was the welcoming face at the Research & Enterprise Reception desk. 

Melanie was the person that always remembered a face, a name or an event no matter how long ago it might have been.  And not only did Melanie know everyone from the old days, she was always interested in her colleagues and everyone else who walked through the doors of 63 University Road.    

Melanie had many friends in Queen's and she was immensely proud to work in the University.  It is for that reason that we want to remember Melanie with the installation of a bench on the University campus and we welcome any donations.
