Update: Thank you so much to everyone who had donated to the Dogs Trust in Meg's name.

The Dogs Trust actually reached out to me in the New Year to express their condolences and thank us for the amount raised, as they had been receiving other donations in Meg's name outside of this JustGiving page which means we have raised almost £10,000! 

Our local Dogs Trust sanctuary in Kenilworth invited us to a tour, to see their facilities and meet some of the dogs they were currently helping. 

Whilst we were there, we talked about what the donations would be used for at the Dogs Trust and  they have since sent me an update saying they are now in the process of ordering the new doggy paddling pool and they are also building some much needed outdoor wooden shelters for there exercise areas that will help to offer shade to the dogs too.

All Dogs Trust sites now have a memorial statue for remembrance of our loved ones, and we were very honoured for Meg to have the first memorial tag at the Kenilworth location. I have uploaded photos of our visits to the Dogs Trust and if you are ever in the area please, please do visit Megan's tag and see the good work your donation has made.

Megan was very cruelly stolen from us this year, so in honor of Megan and her love for animals, especially for her beloved dog Frank, we would love donations in her memory to go to the Dogs Trust.

 Since its beginning in 1891, Dogs Trust has grown to be the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. At any one time there are around 1500 dogs in the care of Dogs Trust, which is why they rely on donations from people like us. This is so the dogs in their care can stay happy and healthy before they go on to find their new home, with a caring and loving family.
